Your dog's sweater is so last year
You probably update your wardrobe every few months, but when's the last time you got your dog a new winter outfit? Ashley Carestia, founder at Bark Fifth Avenue, has stayed on top of the latest in canine fashion. She joined Georgia in Play's Leah Fleming to forecast trends.
LISTEN: Ashley Carestia weighs in on what's hot and what's not this upcoming season.
Contrary to popular opinion, Ashley says canine fashion is a hot, up-and-coming industry. She said she's dressed up her dogs from a young age, but she couldn't have anticipated the direction her business would go. She says it's partially driven by generational changes in what we define as family.
While it's always been around, Ashley says Millennials and Gen Z are picking up dog fashion.
